Louis Barbeau, Executive Director of the Fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes, regularly attends the Tour de l’Abitibi and plays a very important role. With Jean-Philippe Éthier, from TVGO, he describes the events of each stage. In addition to serving the people watching the races, their information allows the host on the main stage, Xavier Charron, to inform spectators on site of the progress of each stage.

Louis Barbeau also paid a heartfelt tribute to Hélène Soulard, Commissaire who died just before the Tour. Hélène has participated in the Tour in various positions over the past 30 years.
