He managed to gain a few seconds on the break away for the last two km of the race, which allowed him to arrive only 2 seconds before Charles Bergeron from Toronto Hustle Junior Cycling. His teammate David Olejniczak won the bronze medal.<\/p>\n<p>Charles Bergeron broke from the peloton with two other riders after only 3,4 km of racing, and he stayed in a break away for 112 km, until the finish line. Several chasing groups were formed, and some were able to join the break. Even though some cyclists went back to the bunch, the stage finished with a lead group of eleven riders, 46 seconds ahead of the pack.<\/p>\n<p>In general ranking, Lucas Mainguenaud from the national team of France took the brown jersey, while the three other jerseys stayed in the hands of their previous owner. Mathieu Dup\u00e9 kept the orange jersey, Luke Valenti the polka dots jersey and Math\u00e9o Barusseau the blue jersey.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Stage\u00a07, sponsored by the city of Amos<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sunday July 17 will be the last stage of the 52<sup>nd<\/sup> Tour de l\u2019Abitibi. The cyclists will ride in the streets of Amos in a circuit race of 10,8 km, and will do 10 laps to complete a total of 108 km.
